3.5 System Design Documentation and Technical Data Support
Wyle’s documentation/technical data experience covers a wide range of areas including: procurement documentation, such as functional descriptions, specifications, etc.; acquisition documentation, such as Analysis of Alternatives and Test and Evaluation Master Plans; and classic design documentation, such as circuit schematics, PCB artwork, electrical and mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, parts lists, parts data sheets, interface specifications, functional test procedures, and ESS procedures. It also includes configuration management plans and configuration baseline documentation; T&E documentation, such as detailed test plans, flight test plans, test data sheets, test requirements review documentation, and flight clearance documentation; and technical manuals, such as maintenance manuals and illustrated parts breakdowns. While much of Wyle’s documentation experience has been in the form of paper, the company uses IDEAS and Alibre CAD tools for 3-D mechanical part design, and ORCAD for electrical schematics. Wyle also has experience in the development of IETMs. |
