3.12 Information System (IS) Development, Information Assurance (IA), and Information Technology (IT) Support 

      Wyle has provided IS/IA/IT support to NAVAIR activities for more than 20 years, and supports the Information Management Departments (IMD) at NAWCWD and NAWCAD. Tasking includes: development of Corporate and RDT&E applications and systems, system/application integration, oversight of operations and maintenance of computing resources, operations and maintenance of applications and systems, disaster recovery, workstation and desktop support, enterprise architecture, engineering development/ standards development, and studies, analyses, assessments, recommendations and planning. Wyle is a leader in the development of approaches to improve the test and evaluation of large software systems, and it has developed an Information Technology Test and Evaluation (IT T&E) process that tests information protocol-based networks with the same rigor used to test the safety and performance of aircraft. The Wyle IT T&E process measures effectiveness and suitability of the entire network in terms of the customer-specific product or mission.
