3.15 Measurement Facilities, Range, and Instrumentation Support (Detail)

      As a subcontractor under contract N00421-02-C-3052, Wyle supports the NAWCAD Atlantic Test Range, including two tri-service programs: the Airborne Separation Video (ASV) system and the Digital Video Laboratory (DVL). The ASV system provides the capability to preview a weapon prior to release, analyze weapon separation in real-time, access stored separation data immediately after flight, all with a significantly reduced turnaround time. The DVL provides a video, imagery and data analysis system, in which ASV is one of many possible inputs, to multiple data bases. Tasking on this contract includes writing A-specifications and SOWs, reviewing test procedures and participating in tests, serving as the single point of contact to the tri-service community for the dissemination of information, providing configuration management for several hundred pieces of equipment that are in use at multiple sites, and providing technical support to the Central Test and Evaluation Investment Council.
